Living in an aparthotel is a bit different from a tenancy in a flat. Firstly you have a hotel receptionist to assist you, we look at what they can do for you.
Your hotel receptionist is usually the first to greet you at the desk, they are there to help you. If you have guests to visit, the hotel receptionist will welcome them to the building.
Take the deliveries
Your post and deliveries will arrive at the reception. This means you do not need to be in for them and you won’t miss the arrival of your parcel. Just stop by reception, you could do this on your way in after work or on your way back up to your room after dinner.
Answer your queries
Hotel receptionists are usually local to the area, and so their knowledge is first hand. If you are new to the area, you will find them helpful in pointing out where you need to go.
The hotel reception is the first place you should voice any concerns. Please be patient with the staff, as they need to report to the right department before some issues can be dealt with. Reporting problems before they become bigger is always the best plan. One tip is to try to deal with an issue with the same member of staff each time, that way it saves explaining things over again.
If you need extra help
Do you need an extra blanket? Or towels? An early morning wake-up call? Do you need first aid or similar assistance? Then hotel reception is a phone call away. The staff will endeavour to help in whatever capacity they can.
